MITEM to Expand Connectivity of Newly Acquired Dr. Chart Product

Dr. Chart now integrates out-of-the-box with the MEDITECH MAGIC platform

MENLO PARK, CA. — November 3, 2005 — MITEM Corporation today announced that it will enhance its newly acquired Dr. Chart™ product to provide unparalleled connectivity to hospital information systems. This new expanded connectivity will now enable the Dr. Chart laboratory order entry application to integrate in real-time with the MEDITECH MAGIC hospital information system. Currently, MITEM is the only vendor that provides a true non-invasive, two-way interface to the MAGIC platform.

Dr. Chart's trusted and proven CDX integration engine will now be enhanced to provide an interface for virtually any hospital information system. The new Dr. Chart enhancements will tremendously benefit laboratories and their clients with greater convenience, easier integration, and broader laboratory connectivity.
